Amazing Raw "Peanut" Sauce

The almonds in this velvety sauce are more easily digested than peanuts. It also tastes better than any peanut sauce I've had.


Amazing Raw "Peanut" Sauce
1 cup raw almond butter
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, whole or chopped
1/2 cup water (to thin)
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
3 tablespoons Nama Shoyu soy sauce (I use Braggs Liquid Aminos)
4 teaspoons sesame oil
2 to 3 cloves garlic
1/2 serrano or jalepeño chile


Blend all ingredients at high speed until smooth. This makes an unbelievable dipping sauce for carrots or other vegetables, and it tastes amazing as a salad dressing or a sauce over young coconut noodles! 


Makes 2 cups.
